Synopsis
Two Haitian immigrants - a middle-class intellectual and a lower-class labourer - clash, banter, and ultimately unite in a New York City basement apartment in the 1980s. Together, they fight for dignity in a world determined to crush their American dreams.

Haitian Dance Classes

Upcoming October sessions will only be held on one weekend celebrating the Gede season and energy of the dead. This was due to limited studio space, but classes will resume every weekend in November and for part of December.

 

SATURDAY - OCTOBER 26 - YANVALOU MASKAWON

 

Times: 4 to 5.30 pm

Location: 221 Sterling rd., Toronto, ON, UNIT 5 (around the back or via Merchant Lane)

SUNDAY - OCTOBER 27 - BANDA

 

Times: 3.30pm to 5pm

PRICING: 25$ (regular) or 5 classes for 100$

For one whole weekend for 40$

 

Family packages available 

Youth: 12 to 25 years-old @ 20$
