Jasmenta, a devoted native of Haiti, serves as the Chairman of the Board for Haitians of Toronto. With a background in Criminal Justice and her current role within the Durham District School Board (DDSB), Jasmenta embodies a commitment to community service and leadership. In her capacity as Chairman, Jasmenta adeptly guides the board, orchestrating meetings and projects with finesse. Beyond her professional pursuits, she cherishes her role as a mother of two and finds joy in sharing her love for Haitian cuisine. Jasmenta's passion for service and her dedication to fostering positive change make her an indispensable asset to Haitians of Toronto.

Karine Saint-Jean
Karine, a dedicated mother, and French teacher with the Toronto District School Board, fosters inclusive learning environments daily. With a diploma in Early Childhood Education a bachelor’s degrees in Human Rights & Equity Studies and Education and a Masters degree in Education, she's committed to educational advancement. Intrigued by an organization empowering Haitian immigrants through education, Karine serves as Vice Chairman, managing meetings and projects alongside the chairman. Embracing Benjamin Franklin’s wisdom, she believes in the transformative power of education and is honored to contribute her skills to this noble cause.
Treasurer
Eunice Samedi
Eunice, a dynamic leader and dedicated member of the Haitians of Toronto community, serves as the Treasurer on the board. Armed with a double major in Political Science and Women's Studies from York University, Eunice brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. As Treasurer, Eunice meticulously oversees the financial affairs of the organization, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Her responsibilities include budget management, financial reporting, and financial planning, essential for the smooth operation of Haitians of Toronto. Outside of her board duties, Eunice is a passionate entrepreneur, a loving mother, and a well-connected figure within the Haitian community. Her role at UNICEF perfectly aligns with her commitment to service. Utilizing her fundraising skills, Eunice actively contributes to the growth and sustainability of Haitians of Toronto, enabling the organization to continue its vital work within the community. ​

Dominique is not only a devoted father to two wonderful children, but also the ownerof DC Comfort Air. With a heart for mentorship, Dominique dedicates his time to guiding young men interested in the HVAC industry or entrepreneurship, sharing his expertise and experiences to inspire and empower others. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dominique enjoys staying active by hitting the gym and playing basketball, embodying his energetic and outgoing personality. His genuine love for people and commitment to providing top-notch service to his clients serve as the driving force behind his work. Intrigued by the impactful work of this organization to uplift the Haitian community, Dominique is drawn to their mission of youth education and empowerment, eagerly seeking to contribute his skills and passion to their noble cause.

With a knack for craftsmanship and a passion for design, Maxene specializes in turning houses into dream homes, bringing joy and satisfaction to his clients. Beyond his business, Maxene is deeply committed to community development. He dedicates his time to training and mentoring newcomers interested in the field of home renovation, empowering them with valuable skills and guidance. Maxene's influence extends far within the Haitian community in Toronto, where he is widely respected for his leadership and dedication to improving lives. Farah Dominique is a devoted mother and caregiver to her younger siblings, she's an advocate for Haiti and have a strong passion for the Haitian community in Toronto.
